Greg Caswell, Managing Principal of Caswell Advisory Group, formerly Caswell Vlachos

Gregory Caswell

The Managing Principal of CAG, Greg had a successful career in commercial banking prior to moving to M&A advisory. His banking career evolved to that of Chief Lending Officer, then President/CEO of Coastal Bank, Portland, Maine, for his last seven years there.  Greg led the publicly traded institution through its turnaround from the brink of closure by the FDIC to its successful re-emergence and eventual sale that represented a major win for pre- and post-reorganization shareholders, with the latter group achieving a 31.8% IRR.  He began his focus on sell-side M&A in 2005 and co-founded CAG's predecessor firm in 2008.  Greg has developed strong relationships within the New England transaction community, including with legal and accounting firms, private equity and investment advisory firms, as well as other investment banks and commercial banks.  Greg is a co-founder and director of Nu:ionic Technologies, a Fredericton, New Brunswick-based energy technology start-up, and has been a member of a number of not-for-profit boards, including six years on the Maine Board of Overseers, and is currently a member of the Boston chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and the New England chapter of the Exit Planning Exchange. 

Kristen Miale, Managing Director of Caswell Advisory Group

Kristen Miale

Kristen joined CAG in 2024 as a Managing Director. Kristen brings extensive experience having led a $75M non-profit organization for over a decade, with a staff of 115 across three locations. She is the co-founder of Harvesting Good, a mid-scale vegetable processing company in Maine. Prior to her non-profit work, Kristen worked for over a decade as a financial and strategic advisor. She was a senior advisor to a family office overseeing micro- and small-call public and private equity investments and served on the leadership team of a start-up consumer catalogue and e-commerce business. In her early career, she served as an advisor to family-owned businesses, where she was a certified business appraiser and provided strategic and financial planning and leadership and ownership transition consulting. She received her undergraduate degree in computer science from Boston College and a masters in business administration from Boston University. She has served on several non-profit boards and community advisory councils and currently serves on the boards of Harvesting Good and Daily Table in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Erin Larson

Erin joined CAG as Senior Analyst in 2021. Prior to working in M&A advisory, Erin served as a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, firm administrator and finance manager for a prominent litigation firm, CEO for a real estate developer, and consultant and outsourced management accountant for an array of companies in various industries. Erin holds a Master of Accountancy from Bentley University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine, and the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential.

Michael Wing,

Michael Wing

Mike affiliated with CAG in 2016 as Senior Advisor and has a long history of serving in challenging manufacturing management and leadership positions. Concurrent with his work with CAG, where he is primarily focused on providing support with regard to manufacturing clients, Mike is a co-founder and President of Accelera, a start-up company that is developing advanced licensed and patented technology (originally developed by Harvard University) into wearable technology to be used for joint and balance rehabilitation, for both the athletic and aging markets. Mike’s background includes executive management, manufacturing, operations, and turnaround management, as well as new product launches, plant redesigns and re-locations, and staff training and restructuring. Mike has teaching and program development experience at the university level and currently serves as an advisor and director for several private and non-profit boards.

Eric Prouty

Eric Prouty

Eric affiliated with CAG as Senior Advisor in 2023. He has spent more than 20 years as an equity research analyst in asset management and investment banking covering companies in the industrial and manufacturing sectors and was one of the first analysts on Wall Street to focus his coverage on the then emerging sustainability sector. He is currently a partner at the investor relations and capital markets advisory firm AdvisIRy Partners and is a member of the Board of Directors of Hudson Technologies. Eric also is a Trustee and Treasurer at the Hancock Shaker Village.
